Renowned musicians such as Manuel de Falla, Joaquín Turina, Federico Moreno Torroba and Joaquín Rodrigo composed solo pieces and symphonies with the guitar as the lead instrument. Alongside these greats were the luminaries I saac Albéniz and Enrique Granados.
